Silvina Moreno is an indie pop singer/songwriter from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ever since the age of 10, Silvina has been mainly passionate about singing and performing. She has also developed her songwriting abilities, stage presence, guitar and piano skills and increased her music business knowledge throughout the years.In Buenos Aires, Silvina performed non-stop for ten years, and therefore acquired a lot of stage experience, which was the very first thing that she was so attracted to. When she was 16 she joined a Pink Floyd tribute band (A New Brick In The Wall), and later on joined another one (London Eye). She was able to perform at notable venues such as Teatro Metro and the well-known Teatro Opera.Silvina went to Berklee College of Music and graduated in May of 2011. While there, she became involved in a series of high-profile shows, including three Commencement Ceremonies in the Agganis Arena in Boston, singing for highly recognized artists, such as Juan Luis Guerra, Angelique Kidjo and Mavis Staples. In January of 2011, Silvina had the priviledge of singing with acclaimed Uruguayan singer/songwriter Jorge Drexler. "Jorge has taught me to breathe, to explore my identity as a songwriter and have patience with the process of embracing my artistry", Silvina commented.Also, in February of 2011, Silvina has had the honor to sing with ten-time Grammy Award Winner Bobby McFerrin in concert, in a group of talented Berklee singers called The Singing Tribe. This concert, along the lines of Bobbys musical nature, was mainly produced to generate improvised music in song circles, mixed with composed choral pieces as well. "Bobby McFerrin has taught me how to learn from mistakes, how to embrace the stage and the audience and forget about everything else. In the end, it is really all about the music", Silvina remarked. "That was one of the most unforgettable experiences I have had in my entire life"Today, Silvina lives in New York, NY and continues to perform very often. She is releasing her first album Mañana, produced by Jeff Fettig, and will present it the US in March 2012.
